Description

This polygonatum willl reach a height of 1-3' to produce long, tiny , psle yellow bells, which hang in pairs in the axils of the leaves on arching stems. In the fall, an array of dark blue berries (which are flushed with white) will be visible. The plant grows best in moist woodlands and under deep shade where the soil is rich in humus. When planted among rocks, on hillsides, or in colonies, light to deep shade is best. Sow the seeds when they are ripe, and divide in spring or when dormant.
