Description

A notable feature of this tree is the needle color and formation. They are 5-8" long, slender, and drooping. While they are often kinked at first, their outer surface is a green color, and they are bluish-white on smooth green shoots. Light brown cones are also visible on this tree. This plant is fire-prone! Please use caution when planting near your home.

This plant is on the City of Ashland’s Prohibited Plant List and should only be planted if it is at least 30 feet away from any structure. Prohibited Flammable Plants List Questions? Contact Firewise staff at 541-482-2770.
