Description

Prairie Fire Crabapple has an upright spreading form that becomes rounded with age. The leaves emerge maroon-red and mature to a bronze-green. Crimson buds open to deep pink single flowers. The fruit is dark red and persistent. `Prairie Fire' has shown fair to poor fire blight resistance. Needs full sunlight. -Fort Collins Nursery
