Description

This evergreen may be found as a shrub or a small tree, but either way, it will have a very dense, rigid and compact habit with a broad-rounded to irregular outline. There should be no fertilizer used during the first year of growth and the lower branches should be left alone to shade the trunk and roots. It combines well with conifers, and large-leaved deciduous shrubs.
