Description

This dense, broad evergreen shrub reaches 10' tall and 12' wide. It has a polished look, with new growth brilliant scarlet to salmon-pink in color. It is a good shade espalier. Large drooping flower clusters bloom in late spring. It does best in moist acid soils and prefers sun to part shade. It needs to be protected from wind.
